“Believe it or not but the policies that a nation lays with respect to ICT and Internet services go a long way to determine whether the country enjoys the rapid technological and economic advancement associated with good Internet access or it continues to struggle despite the billions of money invested in the sector.
This session takes a look at existing and proposed Internet policies and tax regimes to encourage the good and discourage the bad. It also looks at the process of policy-making and the channels for stakeholders to contribute their input with a view to encouraging more citizen participation.
