Count Every Second Until The Network Bootcamp.
About Network Bootcamp .
Several times a day within Nigeria, one hears of things like “the network is slow”, “our Internet is not working”, “the server is not going” or some other variant that points to the fact that the Internet technology that was deployed to make life easier has turned out to be a source of pain. This is in spite of the millions spent as payment to Internet Service Providers monthly.
While it is a widely known fact that the cost of Internet connectivity in Nigeria is extremely prohibitive, there are steps that could be taken by your corporate network administrator to improve the effectiveness of your Internet services without necessarily increasing expenditure. As part of ngNOG’s efforts to improve the value of Internet services and improve performance to end users, we will be holding a special Bootcamp for network managers in Abuja, Nigeria from 12th to the 14th of May 2020 to share these insights and much more.
Broad areas to be covered at the Bootcamp include effective tools for bandwidth management, network prioritization and special measures for improving the quality of services delivered by Internet Service Providers. Sessions will be coordinated by resource persons with several years’ hands-on experience managing networks of various sizes. The program is designed to include interactive sessions in which participants further learn from one another and the resource persons. As a bonus, there will also be a network clinic that allows participants to bring in specific issues they are facing on their networks and the resource persons help them sort out the challenges.
Seats are limited – please apply now, if you are interested in having your staff attend.
