Oronti Adewale

Adewale is a Senior Network Engineer with the Federal University of Technology, Akure. He holds both B.Sc and Masters in Computer Science. Wale has over 14 years of experience Linux, UNIX and BSD Administration. An open source evangelist especially in the areas of Radius AAA, Network Monitoring and Ansible Server automation. Prior to joining the academic environment in 2012, Adewale worked with SKANNET an indigenous company with over 15 years of activity in the Information Communication and Technology space in Nigeria as Network Engineer and Server Administrator.

He has proven expertise in Network Operations, Planning, Design, Implementation and Documentation, as well as configuration, scaling and training. His other key interests include IPv6, BGP, OSPF, network automation, data analysis, and software-defined networking. He has high proficiency Linux, UNIX, Microsoft operating systems, Mikrotik RouterOS, VyOS & Cisco Systems. He is part of the local community capacity building team (Nigeria Network Operators Group – ngNOG) where he is involved in the training of other Network Engineers and Server Administrators on network best practices and deployment of various Internet services.
