Building Your Network Monitoring Stack: From Linux to Grafana Workshop

Details

This training program is designed to equip participants with essential skills in Linux system administration, containerization using Docker, managing containers with Portainer, and implementing network monitoring solutions using SNMP, Prometheus, and Grafana. The course will provide hands-on experience and practical knowledge to ensure proficiency in these critical areas.

Training Objectives At the end of this training, participants will:

  1. Understand fundamental Linux system administration concepts.
  2. Gain proficiency in Docker containerization and container orchestration.
  3. Learn how to use Portainer for efficient container management.
  4. Implement and configure SNMP for network monitoring.
  5. Integrate Prometheus for metrics collection and monitoring.
  6. Visualize network and system performance data using Grafana.
Prerequisites
  1. Participants should have a basic understanding of IT infrastructure
  2. Each participant should have a laptop with internet access.
  3. Virtual lab environments will be provided for hands-on sessions.
